Saints Peter and Paul. The Holy Apostles / June 29
On a single day, the memory of the sufferings of both these Apostles Sts. Peter and Paul is celebrated on June 29th. They suffered martyrdom on separate days, but by the spirit and the closeness of their suffering they constitute one. Peter went first, and Paul followed soon after him. May they intercede to Christ for us all.

Saint George Feast Day - May 3rd, 2021
The Feast of St. George is held on Bright Monday, May 3rd for 2021. When April 23rd coincides with Great Lent or Holy Week, the Feast is postponed to the Monday after Pascha. The reason is simple: Holy Week and Lent are periods of mourning. As the deliverer of captives and defender of the poor, As the healer of the infirm, and the champion of kings: Victorious Great Martyr George, intercede to Christ our God For our souls’ salvation!

Sunday of Orthodoxy
What better way to begin the journey of Great Lent than to celebrate our faith and to remember that we are not alone. The Sunday of Orthodoxy allows us to celebrate the victory of the true Faith over iconoclasm. We also rejoice in the blessing of being able to be surrounded by visible reminders of the Church Triumphant: those who have goneon before us, enduring me race well until the end; who continue to intercede on our behalf.

Sunday of Cheesefare: Expulsion of Adam from Paradise
March 14, 2021 As we begin the Great Fast, the Church reminds us today of Adam’s expulsion from Paradise. God asked Adam and Eve to fast but they did not obey Him. As a result, they were expelled form Eden and lost the life of blessedness, knowledge of God, and communion with Him, for which they were created.

Great Martyr Barbara commemorated Dec 4
Her father, the pagan Dioscorus, was a rich and illustrious man in the Syrian city of Heliopolis. Her Mother died when she was young. Seeing Barbara’s extraordinary beauty, her father decided to hide her from the eyes of strangers. Apostle Andrew, the Holy and All-Praised First-Called
The newsletter contains a lot of interesting content, a “Prayer“, “Do you Know?“, “What I have learned!“, “Cross Word“, and more interesting information, the saint of the month is “Apostle Andrew. The Holy Apostle Andrew the First-Called was the first of the Apostles to follow Christ, and was the brother to the holy Apostle Peter. From Bethsaida as a youth he turned with all his soul to God. After Pentecost, Saint Andrew went to the Eastern lands preaching the Word of God. He went through Asia Minor, Thrace, Macedonia, and upon reaching the River Danube, he went along the coast of the Black Sea. On his journeys St. Andrew endured many sufferings and torments from pagans but continued to preach about the Savior who worked miracles through him. Holy Apostle Andrew established Christian Churches and preached Christ on his journey to Patra, where he eventually suffered martyrdom.Click here to Download the Newsletter

The Great Martyr Demetrius the Myrrh-Gusher was the son of a Roman proconsul in Thessalonica.
