“Christ is risen from the dead, trampling down death by death; and upon those in the tombs bestowing life!”
Dear members of St. George,
Christ is Risen! Truly He is Risen!
I want to wish you and your families a blessed Pascha and greet you with Christ is Risen. May this Pascha brings us all and to our homes peace and Christ victory over death and illness. May the Risen Lord bring us to say with St. John Chrysostom: Christ is risen, and you, O death, are annihilated! Christ is risen, and the evil ones are cast down! Christ is risen, and the angels rejoice! Christ is risen, and life is liberated! Christ is risen, and the tomb is emptied of its dead; for Christ, having risen from the dead, is become the first-fruits of those who have fallen asleep. To Him be glory and power forever and ever. Amen!
Monday May 3rd, we will celebrate the Feast of St. George. Happy Feast Day to our community of St. George and to all those named George many years.
In the crucified Christ,
