“Thou, O Christ, art our God of exceeding praise Who didst establish our Holy Fathers as luminous stars upon earth, and through them didst guide us unto the true Faith, O most merciful One, glory to Thee.”
Dear followers of the True Faith,
The Peace of our Lord be with you.
This Sunday we celebrate the Fathers of the fourth Ecumenical Council of Chalcedon. At this Council, the Holy Fathers affirmed that Jesus is true God and true man, and both natures are united in the one Person of Christ.
Starting this Sunday, everyone must bring a mask with him/her and wear it in church.
Monday July 20th is the Feast of St. Elias, to all those called by the name of Elias or Elie many years.
We will have Bible study on zoom next Wednesday July 22nd, use the same id number to join. We are studying the Gospel of Matthew.
Please, come to church for Orthros and before Liturgy starts. Many people are texting and checking their phones during Liturgy. Can we give God our undivided attention for one hour?
The Lord said to His Disciples: “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hid. Nor do men light a lamp and put it under a bushel, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father Who is in heaven.”
Let the Light of Christ shines from our lives to those who will meet us every day, and so they can give glory to our Father who is in heaven.
The Light of Christ illumines all,
