John Ghazal is a seasoned member of the St. George Toronto community with 10+ years’ worth of consistent involvements across various initiatives and organizational bodies. As Lead of Communications, John will be responsible with oversight of internal and external messaging, stakeholder management, and marketing.

John has a demonstrated passion for community growth through various undertakings. He has previously served as vice-president of the Diocese of Ottawa, eastern Canada and upstate New York SOYO, president of Toronto SOYO, a councillor at Camp Transfiguration, as well being an alter server.

John Ghazal is currently in his fourth year for Honours Bachelor of Commerce (Marketing) (Co-op) degree at the University of Ottawa. Expected to Graduate December 2021. Along with school John Ghazal is on the varsity rugby team at uOttawa. His biggest aspiration is to one day successfully start his own e-commers business.
